We all know that the future of all car manufacturers should consider the environmental aspects, and as has been done on the sports car was first released in 2007, is a 2-door sports car that apply the 4.7 L engine (~ 287 cu in) V8.V-8 is a car engine with a model of "V" has eight cylinders mounted on the crankcase in two banks of four cylinders, in many cases placed at right angles to each other but sometimes at a narrow angle, and generally having eight pistons so commonly known as the V8.

The dealer adds that the original sticker was $328,477, with the price of this white-colored example set at $310,000. So what do you say; is this Ferrari/ Maserati-derived, Alfa Romeo-badged exotic worth its price tag or would you look elsewhere if you were lucky enough to have this kind of cash laying around in your bank account?

It's hard to be sure of anything in today's dire global economy, especially in the car business. Take Chrysler.

America's weakest automaker went through bankruptcy and came out in partnership with an Italian automaker. Without the restructuring, Chrysler said it wouldn't have lasted through 2009, which meant it wouldn't have been able to take advantage of the life-saving "strategic alliance" with Italy's Fiat Auto.

Styling and Aerodynamics Innovation Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione Recalled Along with Maseratis in the US
0 comments Posted by kanjengngawen at 6:26 PMA dozen Americans were very lucky few owners of one of the world's hottest sports cars, Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione, the beauty of Italy should return them to improve quickly after it was discovered that certain models are produced with no right front and rear suspension nut torqued up and the ball down together. recall also affects the MY 2008 Maserati Gran Turismo and the Quattroporte that share the same platform with the Alfa.
Overall, Maseratis and Alfa 8c 7912 Competiziones will be remembered in America. While the Italian car maker did not disclose specific figures, we know for sure that it is only allocated 84 Alfas in the U.S.
Maserati says that the ball properly torqued nut may loosen due to vibration, together with the steering wheel, metallic voice growing and progressive loss of precision in transient driving. According to the Italian car maker, continued to use the vehicle in this condition can cause damage to the suspension lever, which in the long term and depend on the use of vehicles, can cause the ball joints / suspension arm to break.
The company's dealers will inspect the torque of the front / rear nut ball up and down together and, if necessary, replace the suspension arm and hub carrier. This recall is expected to begin in February 2009. U.S.

The 169 is a replacement to the aging 166. It is expected to feature a rear-wheel-drive platform derived from Maserati. All this in 2009, when it will hit the market. The Alfa 169 might have the same engine as the 8C Competizione.
New Alfa Romeo 169 will be powered by new V6 fuel and diesel engines, which still are going to be developed, and by a new V8 unit, in the top version, which comes from 8C Competizione, combined with authomatic transmission.
